MOON FESTIVAL 2022

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Children’s Tết, is a traditional festival celebrated in many Asian countries, such as China, Korea, Singapore, Japan and Vietnam. On the night of the festival, families will buy mooncakes, persimmons, and other treats, and children will carry lanterns, cellophane toys, or wear a mini lion head en route to the lion dance performance. This is also an opportunity for family reunions. Everyone comes together to enjoy moon cake – a typical and indispensable food in this festival. Responding to the warm atmosphere from the holiday, EtonHouse E-Maison International Pre-School will organize a Mid-Autumn Festival for our community to join in the celebrations.

The festival will include traditional activities such as:
– Learning how to make mid-autumn lanterns and playdough toys
– Performing a lion dance
– Interacting with Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang
– Participating in folk games
– Enjoying the special mooncakes with friends

This experience allows for meaningful opportunities for parents and children to collbaborate through creative activities, encountering one of the most important cultural celebrations in Vietnam.
