  1. Dr. Jane Shadwell-Li

Dr. Jane graduated from her native New York’s Stony Brook Medical School, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Long Island’s North Shore University Hospital. She worked for two years at an outpatient clinic in Washington D.C. before arriving in Vietnam in the year 2000. She joined the team at Family Medical Practice in 2002, while simultaneously serving on the U.S. Consulate’s health units, and now exclusively practices at FMP.One of the longest-serving members of FMP’s Internal Medicine Department, Dr. Jane manages a broad spectrum of patient diseases, ailments and conditions, with special interest in Dermatology and Infectious Disease. After 20 years of practicing medicine, she is truly an expert in her field, and is frequently called upon to present health talks on a wide range of issues like health screenings, breast cancer, occupational health, skin cancer and most recently, Covid-19 safety protocols.Practice License: 000261/BYT-CCHN

  1. Dr. Serge Gradstein

A French native with over three decades of experience in medicine, Dr. Serge Gradstein received his Doctorate from Rene Descartes University Paris 5, and completed his professional residency in Pediatrics at Israel’s Kaplan University, where he functioned as their Senior Pediatrician for two years.

Switching gears, he initiated a residency in Infectious Disease at Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, the largest city in southern Israel, where his focus was caring for patients suffering from rare tropical diseases and other less common infections. He then moved back to Kaplan, where he divided his time between his Pediatrics and Infectious Disease practices, working in the hospital’s HIV ward, and treating both adults and children suffering from HIV and AIDS.

In January of 2012, Dr. Serge joined the team Family Medical Practice where he now serves in the D2 Medical Center as Medical Director and Head of Pediatrics, and continues his life’s work of treating children.
