Week 1: Awakening our Sensory Environment (26-30 June)
In the first week of Summer Camp, our children engage in explorations that awaken their senses from tactile to taste. Our provocations for the week will range from the “language of food” to the “magic of movement”.
Week 2: Investigating our Natural Environment (03-07 July)
Our Sensory Environment moves us into our Natural Environment, where we will explore natural materials sourced in our garden and externally. The “science of matter” and “natural resources” equip us with what we need to move into our 3rd week.
Week 3: Creating a Sustainable Environment (10-14 July)
Our third and final week of Summer Camp concludes with a sustainable project that demonstrates how materials, both man-made and natural, can be reused and recycled to reduce waste and our ecological footprint.
